It is with great pleasure we can announce that our very own Future of Ghana Programme Manager, Sandra Osei-Asare is a finalist in two categories of Black African Women Rock (BAWR) Awards 2015.
Sandra has been nominated for the Young Woman Achiever and the Social & Humanitarian Award for her work as Programme Manager for the Future of Ghana
Sandra is a an incredible asset to the team. known as “Bosslady” as the programme Manager for the initiative she takes the lead on the strategic planning and management of the iniative. A woman of authority, substance and wisdom Sandra has an intense ardour for Africa and its development.
Black African Women Rock , was founded by Lindani Moyo in 2013. The purpose and vision behind BAWR is to motivate , inspire women to pursue with their dreams . BAWR is a platform to uplift women of color by saying yes we can.
They aim to rise uplift each other to grow and share ideas, and market for each other and stop being negativity amongst each other. Another objective is to reach out to women globally, women that have lost hope, women with low self -esteem , lack confidence , and single women . Women that have reached their lowest and think they cannot make it in life, women who think they are worthless they cannot do it or make it, but BAWR is saying yes they can , they can support women through seminars , workshops, breakfast clubs.
